Siblings Accuse Keiyo North MP of Faking Father’s Will
January 9, 2020
Siblings of Keiyo North MP James Murgor once again found himself at the center of a family dispute over his father’s Sh2 billion estate, when his siblings accused him of faking his father’s will. James Murgor’s siblings were represented by lawyer Philip Murgor in the dispute over his father William Murgor’s vast estate, which includes large tracts of land in Elgeyo Marakwet and Uasin Gishu County. Murgor’s siblings accused him of taking more than his fair share.
Philip Murgor said that the will was found to be a forgery after scrutiny from government officials. The will in question awarded James Murgor a prime piece of land in Eldoret Town worth Sh400 million. The late William Murgor was MP for Kerio Central during the Kanu regime.
