Uasin Gishu Police Recover two Cars Stolen at Churchill Show

Police inĀ  Uasin Gishu have now recovered two of the cars that disappeared during The Churchill Show held at the Eldoret Club two weeks ago. The operation netted eight stolen cars, including the two, according to the County Police commander, Johnstone Ipara.

The police have been trailing the car thieves for a while now, and the same syndicate is suspected to have orchestrated the theft of vehicles in 6 counties, including Uasin Gishu, Bomet, Kericho, and Elgeyo Marakwet.

The Police Commander decried a rapid increase in car theft incidences within Eldoret town.

Police officers raided a workshop where they found parts of cars that had already been dismantled as well as unregistered number plates.

The police are waiting for people to come up and identify their lost vehicles.

Suspected car thieves are in custody at the Central Police station in Eldoret town.
