Ainbkoi MP William Chepkut has accused nominated women leaders of obtaining plum jobs by trading sexual favors.

After Sonko’s revelations, we now know there’s more than meets the eye with the nominated Women MCA’s, MPs and the senators. We really need to punguza Mzigo!”

The legislator made his comments following Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s sensational revelation that he nominated Anne Muthoni Thumbi to the Nairobi County Assembly as a favor to her baby daddy Ken Okoth.

Mike Sonko told Okoth’s family members to acknowledge the 4 year old son of Muthoni, whom she has named Jayden Baraka Okoth, as a son of the late Kibra legislator Ken Okoth.

According to Sonko, the two met when he organized a free medical camp in Kibera by the Sonko Rescue Team where she volunteers as a nurse. Sonko went on to publish screenshots of conversations between Okoth and Muthoni, showing conversations between them. He even revealed that he had paid for her to travel to Paris to see him in his hospital bed, but the trip had to be canceled when he was transferred to Kenya.

On her part, Muthoni has described Okoth as a ‘good man’ who was keen on the progress of the boy.

The legislators mother raised eyebrows when she publicly announced that no woman should come out claiming to have given birth to her son’s child. ‘My son has no children,’ claimed the granny who raised Ken Okoth single handedly.

Chepkut is a former PA of retired Keiyo South MP Nicholas Biwott. Ainabkoi is one of 6 constutencies in Uasin Gishu.
